Yahoo pipes and AR
Using geoRSS in yahoo pipes I've linked several places in Randwick to their geographic locations, which can work as a guide in Layar, in this case to suggest tourist attractions for budget conscious travellers. Another option would be to compile or find and rss feed and output these locations to a map, sourcing images of the locations from a photo hosting site like flickr.
